The Hash Labs.

Privacy Policy

How The Hash Labs handles personal data when you visit our site or engage our IT services.

1. Who we are

The Hash Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an IT and computer science company based at 80 CCA, DHA Phase 5, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you visit thehashlabs.com, contact us, or engage our software, cloud, AI, or consulting services.

If you have questions about this policy, email hr@thehashlabs.com or call +92 306 0429099.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways: information you give us, information collected automatically, and information shared under a client agreement.

  • Contact and inquiry data: name, email address, phone number, organization, role, project goals, budgets, and any message you submit through forms or email.
  • Business and contract data: billing details, company registration information, signed proposals, statements of work, and delivery communications.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, referral source, and basic performance logs.
  • Candidate data: resumes, portfolios, and interview notes when you apply to join our team.
  • Client project data: source code, credentials, datasets, and documents shared for delivery — processed only as needed to perform contracted work and governed by project agreements / NDAs where applicable.

3. Why we use your information

We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Responding to inquiries and scheduling discovery or support calls
  • Preparing proposals, estimates, and technical recommendations
  • Delivering software engineering, cloud, AI, and related services
  • Operating, securing, and improving our website and internal tools
  • Sending project updates or optional newsletters you request
  • Complying with legal, accounting, and audit obligations
  • Recruiting and evaluating employment or contractor applications

We do not sell personal information to third parties for advertising.

4. Legal bases and sharing

Depending on your location and the context, we process data based on contract performance, legitimate interests (such as securing our systems and improving services), legal obligations, and/or your consent (for example, newsletter signup).

We may share limited information with:

  • Trusted processors that help us run email, hosting, analytics, or collaboration tools
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) under confidentiality
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • Project partners or subcontractors only when needed for delivery and under appropriate controls

5. Retention, security, and international transfer

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, plus any period required by law or dispute resolution. Inquiry emails may be retained for relationship history; inactive marketing contacts can request removal at any time.

We use practical security measures such as access control, encrypted transport (HTTPS) where available, least-privilege internal access, and secure handling of client credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work continuously to reduce risk.

Because we operate from Pakistan and may use global cloud providers, your information may be processed in other countries. Where we do so, we take steps reasonably available to protect it.

6. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete data we no longer need to keep
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent for optional communications

Send requests to hr@thehashlabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Related documents: Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

7. Children and updates

Our website and services are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date below reflects the latest revision. Material changes may be highlighted on this page or communicated to active clients.
